Archeoligists found a sharp bit of bone imbeded in a mastadons rib bone archeoligists are not sure of when the mastadon was killed. They say the hunter was probably trying to get the sharp object inbeetween the rib and hit a vital organ. They think the mastadon might of flinched or ran off when or before the hunter could get a hit on him. One thing archeoligists know is that it probably wasnt a fair fight because they think that the mastadon was probably old and sickly. The dig sight was turned over by a rancher who returned the favor by dubbing the house the "Manis Mastadon" after the ranchers last name.
